WCHCS Selected to Host Regional-Qualifying VEX Robotics Competition

Washington Court House City Schools is proud to announce that it has been chosen to host a regional-qualifying VEX Robotics competition for high school and middle school robotics teams! The tournament, scheduled for January 27th, 2024, will take place at Washington High School, drawing over 60 teams from across Ohio and Kentucky, including OUR own high school and middle school teams.

VEX Robotics encourages science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) learning and career experience. During competition, students must learn to design, engineer, build, and program a robot designed to complete a series of specific tasks as specified by the competition.

Parts, registration fees, and team fees, as well as the cost of updating the competition fields require us to seek out funding to ensure students can continue to gain this valuable career experience that can be used beyond high school.

Your support will not only contribute to the success of the event, but it will provide an incredible opportunity to empower the kids of our community to create, collaborate, and develop the skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.  If interested, please click the links below!
