You’re invited to a fun, free, and meaningful evening of making art for a good cause! Hosted by the Blue Lion Art Department, join us on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Washington Middle School cafeteria to craft your own ceramic bowl as part of the Empty Bowls Project.
Whether you’re attending on your own or bringing the whole family, this free event is open to all community members, and no prior experience is needed. Thanks to an Ohio Arts Council grant, all materials will be provided, and our supportive team will guide you through the process of molding and glazing your unique bowl.
Bowls created during this event will be fired and featured at our Share a Bowl: Soup Supper Fundraiser on February 13, helping to raise funds for mental health services and visual art supplies in our schools. While all bowls will be donated to support the cause, participants can reserve their own bowl for $15, payable upon entry to the January 23 event.
Although registration is available at the door, we encourage you to
RSVP in advance to help us plan materials and space. For more information, please contact Katie Kasberg at
[email protected] or call 740-335-0291.
Join us to share the love, make art, and support this meaningful community project!
