Dear Blue Lion Alumni:

It’s that time of the year again!  Time for the 33rd annual Alumni Band to take the field.  This year’s Homecoming game is Friday, September 15th, against Monroe.

All of the Alumni Band information will be posted on our district web site.  Event information, dates and times, personal information sheet, and music will be available for downloading.  I feel that this will be the easiest way for you to get everything you will need for Homecoming.  I will accept e-mails or you may mail your information form back to me by Wednesday, September 13th.

As in the past you will be performing with the Blue Lion Marching Band at half-time.  This year we will be performing tunes from Bon Jovi "Livin on A Prayer"  and Pot Liquor's "Cheer" ( Yes, We Will Be Doing The Dance!)  We are also going to continue our tradition of the script Lions however will be marching the formation to our “Drive-On” cadences instead of the Washington Fight Song.  

We will be holding a rehearsal at Gardner Park from 4:30-5:30pm on the 15th to rehearse and put everything together.  I realize that some of you will be unable to be there at that time so plan to arrive as soon as you can.

Due to the large number of students in the band most of our school instruments are being used.  Please attempt to find your own instrument if possible.  If you cannot find an instrument contact me.
