Kathy Clay

Welcome

Hello! My name is Kathy Clay. I am originally from Washington Court House, Ohio. I went to Ohio University as a non-traditional student and received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I then moved onto Wright State University and received my master's degree in Educational Leadership.

I am now in my sixteenth year of teaching.  My first 13 years were spent in third grade, with the last three years in fifth grade all of which have been at Belle Aire.  I teach Math and Science and have a passion for making connections with real-world concepts. The best part of being a teacher is seeing the kids achieve success and feeling confident about their efforts.
I am a huge Blue Lion fan and graduated from Washington High School.  I love teaching at Belle Aire Elementary with my fifth grade colleagues and the wonderful staff.

If you ever have an issue that needs brought to my attention, feel free to email me at [email protected]  or call the high school main office (740-335-1810) and ask for me there. Thanks!
