Other Courses 

COMMUNITY SERVICE - Grade 11 - 12.  This course is to encourage students in community service as a means of enriching their academic learning experience., promoting personal growth, and helping them to develop the skills needed for productive citizenship.  Students will be linked to nonprofit organizations, agencies and schools.  Students will be placed to serve two hours each day for the 12week grading period.  They will maintain a portfolio of program activities and will be required to work a minimum of 85 hours on site.  Students will be responsible for their own transportation.  2 hour block - 1 semester - 1 credit.

JOBS FOR OHIO’S GRADUATES (JOGS) - Grade 11 - 12.  This course is designed to assist students in the transition from school to work.  Focus is on skills needed to secure and succeed in a good job.  1 hour block - 1 semester - ½ credit.

ACT PREP - Grade 11 - 12.  This course is designed for students wanting to improve their performance on college entrance exams.  The course will focus on test taking skills in the areas of Math and English.  Prerequisite:  Strong desire to improve college entrance exam test score.  1 hour block - 1 semester - ½ credit.
