Guidance Information

Welcome to the School Counselor's Page!

My name is Sara New and I will be your counselor at Belle Aire Intermediate! I am excited to meet each of you and help you in any way I can! I grew up around Washington Court House and am a Miami Trace graduate. I completed my undergrad degree at The Ohio State University (GO BUCKS!) and my master’s degree at The University of Dayton.

I provide social and emotional support for Belle Aire students through individual and small group counseling, which may include anger management, divorce, friendship skills, grief, self-esteem, etc. I also help with character education during Lion's Quest lessons, career development, and other special services to ensure that students are equipped for their daily learning and future preparedness.

I receive referrals in several different ways. The student may request to see me, teachers may refer a student, or parents are welcome to make a request for their child to meet with me. If you have questions you can contact me directly.
